I offer quality built marimbas at affordable prices, and because I do mainly custom orders, you get exactly what you want. All the marimbas I make are harmonically tuned at the standard A=440. I use mostly quarter-sawn African paduak for the key wood which has a wonderful sound and beautiful color. I have used other woods and will do so if asked. The wood I use for frames is usually ash, oak or cherry. For mbira I usually use walnut that has been self milled.
